David Wayne Perry, seventh son born to Pastor Ananias and Vera Perry in Selma Alabama. Raised on a 117acre farm David, grew up working hard and as the family tradition was church on Sunday. Ananias was a third generation Pastor and Presiding Elder in the AME Church . David Perry was one of the first blacks to integrate Southside Elementary i a very racially charged atmosphere in Selma in 1970. The transition was hard but part of Gods plan for David. David later became a standout athlete at Southside High School in 3 sports. David was granted a scholarship to The University of West Alabama in football. David one year later was recruited to play football for the US Army. David's life took a drastic turn whale in the military . David soon got involved in the illegal drug trade which eventually led to his discharge from the Army. David continued down the wrong path until he ended up being arrested for several charges . David's father came to see him in solitary confinement on January 20th 1988 and that visit would start the spiritual change in his life. The tears of david father finally broke through a very dark heart and after that visit David was saved while trying to commit suicide. January 21st 1988 Jesus saves and changed his life forever. David is married to Margaret Perry a union of 29 years. 2 daughters 2 grandsons David is the senior Pastor of House of Prayer Church Selma Al which they founded in 2012 They have also founded another ministry in Athens through the prompting of God and the Prophetic voice of Pastor Darius Crayton of Bridge Builders Decatur Al. David attended UWA Livingston Al the University of Maryland overseas Hanau Germany Bishop College Dallas Texas and JF Ingram tech.
