Beyond Divide and Conquer: Unite and Build Racial Equity Training

Exploring how the social construct of race was created to divide and conquer people

The Beyond Divide and Conquer: Unite and Build Racial Equity Training explores how the social construct of race was created to divide and conquer people (especially poor whites and people of color). Using first-person historical narratives, the training asks the question, “What is the cost of racism for people of color?”, “How does racism impact white people?”, and “How we can resist the divide and conquer strategy in order to unite and build?”.

The Beyond Divide and Conquer Training emphasizes the influence of racism in the personal, institutional, and cultural spheres while examining the concepts of “power” and the influence it has on internalized racial superiority and/or inferiority.
